Day to Day... by Day

Here's a little picture of my day: I'm half awake around 8am and will be fully awaken reluctantly by my 2 babies.  Wallace cheerily tells me "time to geh up, mama!". By then, time to prepare him for school and will be heading off school by 9am.

Sometime between 10 and 11, I force myself off the couch, eat a bar of chocolate myself and make some  hot coco. I check my email, do some work, answer some phone calls, get  letters from mailbox. Around 12.30 will be heading to school to pick up Wallace then off to work by 1noon.

Reach office feeling hungry and bit sleepy...  Check emails.... endless replies.... talk to the boss for while regarding today's work shcedule.... I'm exhausted and ready for a nap. But I'm also starving. I go down to resto for  lunch by 3pm. I'm still hungry. I eat dessert by 4pm

And again at 6 p.m. And then again at 8 p.m., never feeling full....eat fancy dinner at resto with MacBook on side. By 9 p.m. i will be updating my corporate group FB, spam e-mail marketing....and thinking of Wallace and Jewel back at home.I'm exhausted and baby keeps on moving in my tummy. Will be killing my time watching my floor staff until 11pm... Head off to home.

Reach home, I stay up until nearly 1 a.m. finishing some freelance work and checking some things for my  tomorrow's work schedule.

Off to bed and will be watching Wallace & Jewel faces lying down on both side of my bed......trying to figure out where to place the new baby in my tummy.

When I fall into bed I'm beyond tired. I'm getting 6-7 hours of sleep a night....

Tomorrow is another day :-)

Photography makes my tummy happy :-)

Whats so cool about my current job?? Apart from learning soooo much things about wine and food pairing .... (im about to become a Sommelier soon) i also have the privilege to try new dishes before it become official. Gastronomic indulgence!

I had fun today taking photos of our NEW Set Lunch as well as the NEW Dessert.....
Though i do not have the professional lessons in photography, my strong interest and creative flare in portrait shoot and cuisine shoot makes me equipped with the basic know-how (know to point and shoot only). Now i understand why my hubby has been investing with all these gadgets and kept on bugging me about the Nikonian Academy. He's so supportive for letting me to know better his mistress.... the Nikon D80 :-)

Here are some photos taken earlier...

Gong Xi Fa Chai - 2010

It was a very hectic preparation for this year's CNY Celebration. I was working a day before the Chinese New Year eve and left my work place after dinner to catch the long journey to our family hometown, Cameron Highlands. There's no better place like hometown during the long holidays like this. Being married to a Chinese and assimilated most of it's customs and traditions, i have learned to embrace and loved the Chinese New Year holiday.

Wallace.. wearing his traditional CNY shirt (red is a must!)

Missing My W's

My Wallace & William left today to visit some relatives in Kuantan to "give" and "take" the Chinese New Year Ang Pau....

In blogging myself out to catch my sleep without Wallace beside me... **sigh** missing my cheeky baby.... few more nights seems to be sooooo long

Teenage Mommy... my story

Society nowadays has a lot against teenage pregnancy…. and to me, it is saddening to think that teen mums are looked at as though they are "Silly little girls" who couldn't do the right thing and keep their legs crossed...

Here is my experience as a teenage mum! (maybe britney and jaime spears... and others can share thier experiences too!)

My mum left when I was 6… My dad passed away when I was 12.... and I had a melodramatic-fantastic-tragic childhood life and so goes the story of the teenage mum..

I was 16 when I fell pregnant with my first daughter, Juliah. It was my first intimate relationship… fresh and curiosity (kills the cat) and ended up in teen-pregnancy just right after HS…. It was not long after I conceived on my second daughter Alexandra… I was 18 then.. still na├»ve and stupid I should say.

After the second baby was born I decided that it was time to get out of this bad relationship and move on…. Even though there were going to be hassles, I stood my ground since there’s no wedding ring…no legal and emotional binding attached.

Shortly after the separation, I worked odd jobs and enrolled back to school….I swear! It was the most challenging part of being a single-teenage mum. I worked every single day and night of my life…. But still not enough.

I don't go out to parties, I don't waste my money on wants…I have to squeeze my pocket here and there… I take my daughter just about everywhere I go… even in school or in my workplace.

I gave up my life as I chose to have a child at a young age and in doing that, it is my responsibility to make sure they are well taken care of.

Greatest pain was to leave them to take the new challenges and work overseas…it was all HARDWORK.. TEARS... HOMESICK...

THE FAIRYTALE….

I kept dreaming that one day I would still have a perfect family…. Then, prayers were answered when I met my PERFECT PRINCE CHARMING… ( that would be the 2nd part of my story on this blog... watch out!)

CONCLUSION:

Sadly, society doesn't see that any teenage mother is capable of being responsible like I have been… What teen mums need is support and a helping hand.... not judgment... but of course it requires a lot of hardship for the teenage mum to become matured and responsible parent for thier children.

Jewel's Torticollis - Before and After

5 months... laughing out loud!

@ 1 year

Jewel.. yeah as her name describes her.... she's such a precious little one in the family. Among all my children, she is the only one who can consumed 12 milk bottles in a day at the age of one. Well, her frame shows it all. We all love to cuddle her and pinch her cheek. She has this little voice that sounds like an elf.

When she was born, she has a Torticollis, or wry neck, a condition in which the head is tilted toward one side. I only realized that when she was 4 month old. From thereon, we sent her for physiotheraphy for at least 4 months. It was very hearthbreaking everytime i send her for therapy. Her scream is unbearable everytime her chiropractor pull and stretch her neck at the other side. They gave us some exercises to do at home which include literally stretching her neck in the opposite direction and also placing soft toys to the side she tilts so that she will turn her head in that direction.

Overtime... at the age of 2, she manage to outgrow with it and now looking perfectly alright.

@ 2 year old

High-5 to my Children -- An opening Post

If someone gave me the option of going back and starting all over but with the limit of only having half as many kids as i do, I’d politely tell them to stuff it. For all the trouble the kids may cause, or the frenzied days where I have to give up my career to cope with my growing children, I wouldn’t trade it. So for anyone who’s wondering if there are any joys to having a big family, aside from the fact that there’s a lot of love to give, let me share with you what they are:

1. I get to kiss four extra people before I go to bed at night. (How many people do you get to kiss before you go to bed?)

2. There’s never a shortage of something funny to tell someone. Many people go through their day without a single funny thing that happens to them.

3. I always have an excuse to buy chocolates....

4. My reading skills are sharp! Someone always needs something to read for Wallace.

5. Leftovers in my house are almost nonexistent.

6. In the middle of thunder storm, little people climb into bed with me keep me warm.

7. My house never feels empty.

8. I always have an excuse to watch cartoons... Barney song has always been our anthem...

I could give you at least a dozen more joys of having a big family but I think you get the picture....

My preciousess.... Alexa, Wallace, Jewel & Juliah.... the 5th still in my belly :-)
